How to Root and Install Custom Recovery in Alcatel S'Pop without PC

This is the easiest method to root and install a custom recovery on Alcatel S'pop. Remember, I am not responsible for what may happen to your device after rooted. First investigates about the root, its pros and cons.

This method works on S'Pop single and dual-sim.

How to Root?

1 -. Download Framaroot and install.

2.- Open Framarot and click in "Boromir"

3.- Immediately a window will appear confirming the success

4.- Reboot your device and you should see that you have installed SuperSU.
     Now your device is already rooted!

How to Flash a Custom Recovery?

-CWM Download
-TWRP by Ciberangel22k Download

1.- Download Flashify Here or Here and Install.

2.- Open Flashify and give root permissions

3.-  Accept disclaimer and go to "Flash" option and select "Recovery Image"

4.- Then select "Choose a File" option

5.- Now choose your favorite file explorer and navigate inside folders until you find the recovery image previously downloaded

6.- Select your downloaded recovery image and then a windows saying "Flash Recovery?" and click on "Yup!" and now wait

7.-If it was successful, a window will appear saying that the installation was completed. Reboot Now.

Now you already have a custom recovery installed on your Alcatel S'pop. Congratulations!

The Custom ROM includes additional functionality not found in stock Android, including a fully theme-able user interface, new music, gallery, and camera apps, and an alarm clock that rings even if the device is turned off.

KNOWN BUGS:

• An unexpected reboot when using the default lockscreen.
Solution?: Is solved using another lockscreen for example Pattern, Numerical Password, etc. Go to Settings>Security & Privacy>Screen Security>Screen Lock and select a different lock screen, now go back and select Disable other lockscreen

Before install is important you move files from internal storage to an SD card, so also contacts, phone numbers, etc.. as they will be deleted when formatting the phone

• Custom Recovery

Installation:

WARNING: Please make a full nandroid backup of your current ROM( I recommended TWRP). The "nvram" folder contains important information (IMEI, BT and Wifi address, files for sound, etc) so it is necessary to make a backup. The nvram folder is in the / data / nvram directory. If you use TWRP Recovery go to backup option and select nvram, and if you use CWM Recovery make manually

• Put MIUI V5(Beta 1) by ZonaRMR in SD Card
• Boot In To Recovery
• Wipe Data/ Factory Reset
• Wipe Cache Partition
• Wipe Dalvik Cache
• Install Zip From SD Card
• Choose Zip From SD Card (select MIUI V5(Beta 1) by ZonaRMR and flash it)
• Reboot System Now

Note: No need to flash Gapps, are already included.
The first boot may take a period of approximately 3-5 minutes, you please be patient
